Terms of service

Welcome to Kaaya. We wish you a pleasant stay here. Kaaya is not a hotel; it is evolving more as a nature ashram. The basic boarding and lodging facilities are run by a team from the local community. We try our best to make your stay at Kaaya a pleasant experience.

Living with nature

Kaaya and its architecture are hand-built, earthly and generally raw by design. It helps to slow down a bit and fall in tune with nature's rhythm of decay and regeneration. We are located next to a reserve forest and a water stream that is a source of drinking water to birds and other fauna too.

Loud music and bright lights disturb them as well. We advise you to adjust to your surroundings; you are expected to keep your footprints small.

Being with nature also means there may be insects and bugs around the campus, and sometimes in your room too. This is not a sign of lack of sanitation but of our integration with nature. We use natural insect repellents, in a way that does not take away their natural habitat.

We hope the time you spend at Kaaya will be used to unwind, engage and learn from nature.
